Ouagadougou: Faced with heavy losses inflicted by the fighting forces, terrorists are increasingly resorting to the forced recruitment of minorities to replenish their decimated ranks. But it's a lost cause: the boys continue their territorial reconquest by eliminating the barbarians and saving the children.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in recent years, the ground and air offensives carried out by the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) have inflicted very heavy losses on the enemy, whose criminals fell all day long. Faced with this heavy blood loss, the terrorist leaders, who do not seem in any hurry to go and meet "their virgins," prefer to enlist minors, lined up behind the remaining adult terrorists.

The methods used to recruit and employ these children are extremely cynical, bordering on shocking. The killers exploit the naivety, vulnerability, and poverty of these minors, combining cunning and coercion. This is how many children, disappointed or frightened, are recruited and then hastily trained. The so-called Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM, or Nousra) is particularly active in this inhumane strategy.

Recruited children are used as lookouts, spies, radio operators, or even as fighters, deployed in certain localities to gather information without arousing suspicion. Barely holding the line, the terrorist leaders are struggling to feed and care for them properly. Worse still, they do not hesitate to abandon them at the slightest appearance of the Fighting Forces, in order to quickly save their own lives.

During the dismantling of several terrorist bases, the Burkinabe army was able to rescue a number of these minors, aged between ten and fourteen. Their testimonies reveal the extent of the violence they suffered and the cynicism of their tormentors. Betrayed by their own leaders, ready to sacrifice or abandon them at the first sign of trouble, these children will only find salvation through the professionalism of the Fighting Forces.

This sad reality calls once again on parents to remain very vigilant in order to prevent their children from falling victim to the wickedness of these barbarians, who present themselves as defenders of Islam while committing cruelties.
