Ouagadougou: The second edition of the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO) concluded Thursday in Ziniar©, witnessing the participation of 2,324 young conscripts in a ceremony overseen by the governor of the Oubri region, Sy Assetou BARRY/TRAOR€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬°.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the closing ceremony took place at the 11-December area of Ziniar©, attended by administrative, customary, and religious authorities, as well as the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), conscripts, and their families. The conscripts were distributed across three venues: the National Institute for the Training of Education Personnel (INFPE), the National Development Service (SND) of Loumbila, and the Bassy Provincial High School of Ziniar©.
Throughout their immersion, the young participants engaged in activities aimed at enhancing their patriotism, civic responsibility, discipline, and sense of duty. They were also educated about their obligations to the Nation and the significance of civic involvement.

She expressed her satisfaction at witnessing the youth's determination to carry forward the lessons learned beyond the immersion sites, highlighting their commitment to Burkina Faso.
The governor encouraged the youth to become role models within their families, communities, and educational settings. Claudia KABORE/SOUGUE, a relative of a conscript, supported the initiative, acknowledging initial reservations but recognizing the immersion as a valuable opportunity for youth to understand their country and adopt essential values for their growth.
Recruit Oumarou KABORE shared his pride in the experience, noting that the immersion focused on values like patriotism, integrity, probity, solidarity, and tolerance. On behalf of his peers, he extended gratitude to Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Participants urged young people to embody these values daily and contribute to the Nation's development and defense.
