Titao: The special delegation of the municipality of Ouindigui presented its management report for the period 2022-2026 on Friday, September 11, 2026, during an accountability day. Of the 613,971,064 CFA francs mobilized, 536,097,384 CFA francs were allocated to the implementation of planned activities, primarily focused on the recovery and stabilization of the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the special delegation of the commune of Ouindigui, led by President Souleymane Gandema, organized the report presentation on September 11, 2026, in Titao. The event was chaired by David Ayoro, the secretary general of the province of Loroum, representing the High Commissioner. The report highlighted that a financial execution rate of approximately 87.3% was achieved, with a physical execution rate of activities standing at 92.3%.

These achievements were made possible with support from the Burkinabe State, particularly through the Resilience and Social Cohesion Project (PCRSS), as well as several NGOs and associations. 'Today, we paused to review the actions taken and the budget to ensure everyone had a good understanding,' explained PDS Gandema.

The Secretary General of Loroum province, David Ayoro, commended the initiative, emphasizing the importance of accountability in community management. "The various actors in charge of managing communities have an obligation to be able to account for what they do and accomplish as a mission to their communities," he stated.

The session also featured a presentation by Marcel Sawadogo, the special envoy to the Presidency of Faso for the Yaadga region, who urged the community to rally around the ideals of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP). Participants were introduced to the foundations and guidelines of RPP, with versions of the Manifesto available in French and national languages. Sawadogo encouraged all citizens to engage actively for the success of RPP in Burkina Faso and Ouindigui.

The accountability day provided a platform for participants to understand the key actions undertaken by Ouindigui's special delegation amid challenges of relocation and efforts toward recovery and stabilization.
