Ouagadougou: The women's association group "Gnidomba" offers 250,000 CFA francs for the rehabilitation of deteriorated roads. The women's association group "Gnidomba," meaning "hand in hand" in the Koromba language, presented a contribution of 250,000 CFA francs to Lazard Kieme, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Arbinda, to support the rehabilitation of deteriorated roads in the town. The donation was made following a community cleanup day organized at School A in the town.

According to Burkina Information Agency, members of the movement dedicated this time to cleaning the schoolyard, in order to provide students with a clean and healthy environment for the start of the school year. The chairman of the school board, Mamoudou Maga, praised the initiative, which he described as an act of patriotism. "This is the very first time I have seen such an approach from women. They have done a great job and we thank them very much," he said, believing that this dynamic is beginning to take shape in Arbinda.

According to the president of the group of associations, Oumou Maga, the structure is represented in 42 villages. She explained that members develop income-generating activities thanks to their contributions. These savings allow them, in particular, to obtain loans of up to 50,000 CFA francs to start or strengthen their businesses. "We decided to clean up the school grounds so that the children can return to school in a healthy environment," she stated.

The contribution of 250,000 CFA francs given to the PDS, Lazard Kieme, aims to support the rehabilitation work on degraded roads. The municipal authority took the opportunity to call on the various associations to strengthen their collaboration and continue to work together to contribute to the development of this capital.
