Administrative Launch Marks Start of Sanaba’s 2026-2027 Academic Year

Ouagadougou: The administrative start of the academic year has officially begun for education stakeholders in Sanaba. Education stakeholders in the commune of Sanaba held their administrative back-to-school event for the 2026-2027 school year on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with the resumption of services in the various educational establishments and structures, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in the town's schools, teachers and administrators have resumed their activities, focusing particularly on preparations for the new school year. This administrative start to the academic year is an important step in establishing the organizational and administrative arrangements necessary for the actual commencement of teaching activities.

As part of the follow-up to the start of the new school year, the head of the Sanaba Basic Education District (CEB), Jean Konat, toured several schools within his district. During this visit, Mr. Konat wished all education stakeholders a successful start to the school year and encouraged them to adopt the roadmap established by the regional directorate in order to effectively carry out the activities planned for the academic year.

He also commended the dedication and efforts of the teaching staff during the past academic year, despite sometimes difficult working conditions. The head of the Sanaba Basic Education Commission urged all stakeholders to maintain this momentum and redouble their efforts to improve the quality of teaching and promote student success in a community committed to its reconstruction.

For their part, school principals welcomed the resumption of service and reaffirmed their commitment to working towards better academic results at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
