Zondoma: Those called up for mandatory patriotic immersion are carrying out a reforestation operation in PS. About twenty conscripts for the mandatory patriotic immersion (IPO) 2026 proceeded, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to plant 15 seedlings within the grounds of the prefecture, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, supervised for several weeks as part of their civic and military training, these conscripts wanted, through this reforestation activity, to take concrete action in favor of environmental protection, while giving practical meaning to the lessons received during their immersion stay.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the spokesperson for those called up for patriotic immersion, Dabir Dond, explained that this operation reflects the values of patriotism instilled throughout the training. "This act is for us a way of showing that the teachings received do not remain mere words, but are transformed into concrete actions in service to the community," he said. He added that they are fully committed to the construction of the part and that they take great pride in being able to carry out this type of civic activity on the ground.

Present at this activity, the prefect, President of the special delegation, Thomas Dkoumwin Hien, praised the initiative of the submerged, which he considered meaningful for the municipality.
