Zondoma: Education stakeholders are preparing for the 2026-2027 school year in the CEB of L¨ba. The actors of the Basic Education District (CEB) of L¨ba in the province of Zondoma consulted on Friday, September 18, 2026, in order to prepare the 2026-2027 school year which officially begins on October 1, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the top officials of the L¨ba CEB (Basic Education Commission), school principals, and teachers of the CM2 (fifth grade) classes met this Friday, September 18, 2026, at the L¨ba "A" school. This back-to-school meeting provided a forum for discussions about the 2025-2026 school year and the prospects for the upcoming year.

The discussions notably allowed the management to present the new directions for the 2026-2027 school year and to plan the various activities of the first term. According to the head of the Basic Education District of L¨ba, Albertine Sawadogo/Rimzour, this first contact aims to allow CEB actors to identify the difficulties encountered during the past year and to find appropriate solutions to improve school results.

She therefore congratulated all of her colleagues for the results achieved during the previous year and encouraged them to stay the course in order to meet, together, the challenges of the school year that is beginning. The meeting was also attended by a delegation from the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma, led by Inspector General Tido Sogoba. The Inspector General reiterated the province's objective: "zero failures on the CEP (Primary School Leaving Certificate)," while assuring education stakeholders of the provincial directorate's commitment to supporting all CEBs (Basic Education Centers) under its jurisdiction in achieving their goals.

At the end of the meeting, education stakeholders from the CEB of L¨ba pledged to strengthen consultation, anticipate difficulties and combine their efforts to beat the record of 97.24% success rate of 2026.
