Ouagadougou: Conscripts from the Patriotic Immersion Program embarked on a 48-hour cultural excursion to the Doleema Museum in Niaogho, an event opened by Comrade Ambroise Bayili, the Secretary General of the Niaogho commune, on Friday, September 18, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative aims to instill cultural and civic values among the youth. The Secretary-General emphasized the importance of culture as the cornerstone of a nation's future and urged young people to adhere to societal values for national development. He expressed gratitude to the event's sponsors and the museum's promoter for their support.

Comrade €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬°douard Soubeiga, Managing Director of Global Services Company and sponsor of the event, expressed his honor in supporting the initiative. He highlighted the importance of reconnecting the youth with their history, roots, and heritage. Comrade Soubeiga reaffirmed his commitment to supporting youth initiatives and called on the private sector to increase investment in civic projects. He noted that this effort aligns with President Captain Ibrahim Traor©'s vision for Burkina Faso's independence and sovereign development.

Comrade Matirou, responsible for the conscripts, noted that the museum visit aims to deepen their understanding of cultural values, alongside civic duty, patriotism, and discipline taught during their training in Tenkodogo. He emphasized the importance of embodying these principles as future leaders of the country.

The 48-hour program includes three significant presentations: "Knowing one's country, loving one's people, serving one's Nation"; "The Bissa people: history and cultural heritage"; and "The role of young Burkinabe women in the development of their community".
