Falagountou:Sixty new motorcycles have been handed over by the town hall to enhance the mobility of the municipal defense forces and Volunteers for the Defense of the People (VDP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the motorcycles were distributed to the territorial gendarmerie brigade and the communal VDP on Tuesday, with the aim of improving their field mobility and intervention capabilities.

This donation marks the second installment of motorcycle deliveries by the Falagountou municipality to defense and security forces, as part of ongoing efforts to bolster the protection of the population and territory.

The motorcycles are intended for use in patrols and interventions within the municipal area, which is expected to enhance the beneficiaries' response capacity and ground presence.

Victor Maga, representing the president of the special municipal delegation of Falagountou, highlighted the importance of these vehicles in supporting daily efforts to ensure public safety. This initiative is part of broader efforts to improve the mobility and responsiveness of security forces on the ground.
