Pila:The Tienoupagri House Awards 2026 celebrated a range of artistic and cultural talents, recognizing artists, musical groups, choirs, and dancers on September 13, 2026. The event marked the conclusion of a competition held from September 6 to 12, aimed at promoting talents from the evangelical churches in the Sirba region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the awards ceremony took place at "Le Rocher" church in Pila, attended by Dori Hamtandi, who represented the president of the special delegation of the commune.

The competition featured 21 entries across various categories, with participation from individual artists, choirs, musical groups, and dance ensembles. Issouf Ouoba was awarded best artist, while EE/SIM sector 1 took the prize for best musical group.

Radio Manupugsa of Pila received the award for best cultural promoter, and the Dancers of the Kingdom of God from Bilanga won best dance. The organizers emphasized the initiative's aim to reward outstanding participants and provide a platform for showcasing and promoting the region's artistic talents.

One of the organizers, Saint Jo, expressed satisfaction with the event, noting, "Our goal has been achieved. The most important thing is to see that people are already starting to speak out and testify that it has been of great help to them."

The Tienoupagri House Awards also aspire to enhance visibility for artists and groups, fostering interactions and exchanges among cultural actors from different localities in the Sirba region. Through this initiative, the organizers aim to establish a lasting framework for promoting artistic talents and cultural expressions within the evangelical churches and the wider community.
