Koudougou:Preparations for the first edition of the "Night of the Revolution" in the Nando region are in full swing as the commemoration of the 4th anniversary of Captain Ibrahim Traor's rise to power approaches.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a preparatory meeting was held last Wednesday in Koudougou to discuss the event scheduled for September 30, 2026, at the Place de la Nation. Chaired by the region's governor, Adama Jean Yves Br, and co-organized by Pema Neya, the head of mission of the presidency of Faso to the Nando region, the meeting aimed to finalize arrangements for this significant event.

The meeting, held in the conference room of the Regional Council, brought together various stakeholders to ensure the success of the event, which is dedicated to the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution (PPR). Governor Adama Jean Yves Br emphasized the importance of the occasion, having already engaged with traditional and religious leaders to seek their support and blessings.

Local solidarity was evident during the discussions, with numerous pledges of material contributions, such as chairs and tents, underscoring public enthusiasm. The "Night of the Revolution" is anticipated to be a major event of historical and international significance, showcasing the achievements of the RPP.

The event's program at Place de la Nation promises to be vibrant and festive, featuring performances by local artists from 6:00 PM GMT. At 8:00 PM GMT, attendees will watch the official broadcast live on a giant screen, provided by RTB and partner channels.
