Ouarkoye Special Delegation Reviews Budget Amendments and Prepares for 2027

Ouarkoye:Mouhoun The special municipal delegation of Ouarkoye conducted its third ordinary session for the year on September 22 and 23, 2026. This session was focused on examining budgetary and administrative files, specifically the second amended budget of the 2026 financial year and the guidelines for preparing the 2027 budget.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session commenced with a review of the minutes from the second extraordinary session of 2026, allowing members to make amendments before adoption. Discussions then moved to the draft second amending budget for the 2026 fiscal year, presented by the Economic, Financial and Budgetary Affairs Committee and the authorizing officer.

Participants also addressed draft resolutions regarding the rental fees for the town hall meeting room, the court, and the CEPDJ meeting room. A significant part of the session was dedicated to preparing budget guidelines for the 2027 financial year.

The second day focused on examining and adopting the draft second amending budget for 2026 and holding a budget orientation debate to guide the initial 2027 budget preparation. Discussions included strategies for mobilizing municipal revenues.

Members were encouraged to enhance their efforts in collecting resources, crucial for financing local public services and implementing development initiatives for the community's benefit. The session concluded with a review of items under information and miscellaneous matters.
