Djibo:On the fourth anniversary of Captain Ibrahim Traor's leadership, residents of Djibo have expressed their satisfaction with the progress in governance and public affairs. Local citizens appreciate the improvements in security, the return of government services, and development initiatives, while urging continued efforts to foster social cohesion and infrastructure development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, individuals such as Konf Nouridine commend the restoration of dignity for the Burkinabe people under Traor's leadership. The departure of foreign forces, nationalization of companies, creation of industries, and establishment of a gold refinery are seen as steps toward economic sovereignty. Nouridine also highlighted advances in agriculture, including the cultivation of bananas and wheat, alongside initiatives like the Patriotic Support Fund and presidential efforts to mobilize national resources.
Nouh Tamboura noted significant changes, particularly in security, making previously inaccessible areas more reachable. He emphasized development projects, including Faso Mbo activities, infrastructure construction, food sovereignty initiatives, school reopenings, and the return of civil servants. Tamboura stressed the importance of transparency in public resource management to encourage citizen involvement and called for continued patriotic awareness and support for development.
Tamboura Salamata, known as Sala Pathe, highlighted industrial progress and the promotion of local goods, such as the tomato processing plant and the TEXFORCES-BF industrial complex. She advocated for stronger actions to promote social cohesion and community living to consolidate achievements.
Nhou Boucari, also known as Doudou Doogo, praised the mobilization of youth in the army and the collaboration between customary and religious authorities. He appreciated initiatives like Faso Mbo and the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC), which engage citizens in development and cultural identity promotion. Boucari called for increased investment in education and road infrastructure, alongside efforts to enhance culture, social cohesion, and community spirit, expressing hope for continued guidance for the President in his mission.
