Infrastructure Projects in Zoaga Lauded for Boosting Development

Zoaga:The rehabilitation of National Route RN29, the standardization of schools, and the construction of agropastoral pumps are among the significant achievements in Zoaga during the four years of governance under Captain Ibrahim Traor, according to Jol Ouar, a local resident.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Jol Ouar highlighted these developments as part of the commemoration of Captain Ibrahim Traor's fourth anniversary in power. He noted that these infrastructure projects have been completed or initiated for the benefit of the local population.

The rehabilitation of National Route RN29 is seen as a crucial infrastructure project, expected to facilitate the movement of people and goods while improving travel conditions for residents and economic actors. In education, the standardization of schools aims to enhance learning conditions for students and working conditions for teachers, which should lead to improved academic performance.

Hydraulic structures for agropastoral purposes are considered a major achievement, as they support livestock farming activities by facilitating the watering of livestock. Additionally, the development of lowlands is emphasized for its role in increasing rice production, creating business opportunities, and strengthening food security.

Despite these accomplishments, Jol Ouar expressed a desire for the construction of a general education college in Zoaga. He believes that this would enhance the educational offerings and bring school services closer to the community. He underscores the need for continued investment in road, educational, and agropastoral infrastructure to support the municipality's development and improve residents' living conditions.
