Burkina Faso Marks Four Years of MPSR2 Under President Ibrahim Traor©

Ouagadougou:On the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Patriotic Movement for Safeguarding and Restoring the State (MPSR2), Omar Traor©, Special Advisor to the President for the Guiriko region, expressed satisfaction with the leadership of President Ibrahim Traor©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Omar Traor© highlighted the administration's priorities, including sovereignty, dignity, responsibility, and freedom. He noted that these efforts have transformed public perceptions of development and sovereignty, fostering a greater reliance on national resources and capabilities.

In agriculture, significant strides have been made towards food sovereignty, with initiatives such as the Presidential Initiative for Agricultural Production and Food Self-Sufficiency, which aim to enhance production through the provision of modern equipment.

In the Guiriko region, over 1,000 young people have been engaged in agriculture as part of this initiative, demonstrating promising progress in crop yields and promoting youth agricultural entrepreneurship.

Educational advancements include new infrastructure at all levels, with notable projects like the modern lecture hall complex at Nazi Boni University and a vocational high school in Samand©ni. These efforts are accompanied by educational reforms to better align with national needs.

Economically and industrially, Burkina Faso is experiencing growth with new processing units like the SOBTO tomato factory and TexForces BF for local cotton processing, emphasizing citizen participation in national projects.

The Faso Mebo initiative is enhancing urban infrastructure, while diplomatic efforts focus on diversifying partnerships and the withdrawal of French forces, underscoring a commitment to strengthening sovereignty.
