M©guet:The commune of M©guet in Ganzourgou province has experienced notable advancements in socio-educational and health infrastructure over the past four years, significantly benefiting sectors like education, health, and administration.
According to Burkina Information Agency, these developments coincide with the fourth anniversary of Captain Ibrahim Traor©'s rise to power. In education, a non-formal basic education center in Z©malga was established, featuring two buildings each with four classrooms and latrines, which has been operational for two years. The M©guet departmental high school and Tanghin high school both received new administrative buildings, while the Boll© school added a classroom, office, and shop.
In the health sector, Ki©tenga village now has a new health center, including a dispensary, maternity ward, pharmacy, residences, and latrines, which is set to open soon. The M©guet health center was upgraded with a dispensary building and incinerator, and Boll©'s health center now includes nurse housing.
Administrative improvements include the addition of VIP toilets with four stalls at the M©guet town hall. While not exhaustive, these projects underscore significant enhancements in basic social services within M©guet, contributing to the community's educational, health, and administrative needs.
