Start of School Year Celebrated in Koudougou

Koudougou:The new academic year officially commenced in the Nando region on October 1, marked by an inauguration ceremony at the Bourkina school blocks in Koudougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event featured the raising of the national flag and the singing of the national anthem in Moore. Representing the regional governor, Isma«la Yamba, a research officer, conducted the roll call and facilitated the students' entry into classrooms.

Comrade Yamba, speaking on behalf of the regional authority, urged the Nando educational community to fully engage in ensuring a successful academic year. He addressed students, encouraging them to embrace discipline, diligence, and punctuality as foundations for becoming exemplary citizens who embody the values of a renewed Burkina Faso.

Abylaic© Rouamba, the Regional Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education, emphasized the importance of continuing educational reforms. He linked national sovereignty to these changes and called on teachers, supervisors, parents, and students to uphold the pursuit of excellence in the region.
