Zorgho:Ganzourgou: Students at all levels of education in Ganzourgou returned to school this Thursday, October 1, 2026, marking the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year at the Zorgho Friendship School Complex.According to Burkina Information Agency, the Secretary General of the Ganzourgou province, Harouna Karambiri, representing the High Commissioner, officially launched the new school year. He was joined by provincial directors responsible for education, primary and secondary school teaching supervisors, teachers, and students.Barthélémie Boudaoné, the provincial director in charge of secondary education, urged students and teachers to commit to overcoming the challenges of the new school year. He emphasized the importance of the mobilization of authorities around the start of the school year as a reflection of the value placed on education.Harouna Karambiri commended the commitment of education stakeholders and stressed the significance of maintaining their efforts. He highlighted the success of the previous year's results, mentioning a success rate above the national average in all exams, and expressed gratitude for the teachers' dedication.Karambiri advised students to practice "discipline, commitment, and diligence" and encouraged them to attend classes attentively and focus on their homework. He reminded them of the importance of self-study, emphasizing that while support is available, learning is ultimately their responsibility.He also recommended that students organize their work by setting a schedule at home and concluded by wishing everyone involved a successful start to the new academic season.The Zorgho Friendship school complex comprises a college, two primary schools, and a kindergarten within the same premises.
