Discipline and Responsibility Emphasized at Kouini Public Primary School’s New School Year

Kndougou:The director of Kouini Public Primary School in the commune of Djigouera, Abdoul Kader Kabor, has set the tone for the 2026-2027 school year by emphasizing commitment, discipline, and selflessness among teachers to enhance academic results.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Kabor gathered his colleagues to express encouragement and underscore the educational responsibilities they hold. He highlighted the crucial role of schools in shaping future citizens and emphasized that teachers are key to the intellectual and moral development of students.

Mr. Kabor stressed the importance of professionalism, responsibility, and a spirit of sacrifice, urging teachers to embody punctuality, solidarity, and excellence in their daily work. He highlighted the need for cohesion among the educational team to collectively address the challenges of the new academic year.

In alignment with these principles, each teacher received a copy of the Manifesto of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), which promotes values such as discipline, patriotism, and responsibility. These values are seen as essential for fostering students who are culturally aware and capable of contributing to community development.

The director also reiterated educational priorities, including promoting national languages, strengthening bilingual schools, adapting curricula to local realities, and incorporating practical activities like fieldwork and vocational training. He called on teachers to serve as role models through their behavior and dedication to their work, emphasizing the importance of mobilizing all staff to ensure a successful school year for the students at Kouini Primary School.
