Kourouma Leaders Advocate for Local Production and Consumption

Kourouma:The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Kourouma, Angadia Tankoano, presided over a flag-raising ceremony, urging the local population to promote and consume locally produced goods.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place at the Kourouma Departmental High School as part of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation. The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by a message from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, encouraging the use of local products to support the national economy and reinforce the country's sovereignty.

PDS Angadia Tankoano emphasized that prioritizing local products in various aspects of life, such as households, markets, schools, and events, is crucial for economic development and aligns with the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution. He urged the community to transform their commitment into tangible actions.

Chief Warrant Officer Armand Guy Ki of the Kourouma Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of civic responsibility and road safety. He highlighted the necessity of wearing helmets for all motorcycle riders and passengers and reiterated the importance of discipline, patriotism, and civic engagement in building a resilient and prosperous Burkina Faso.
