Bind:Zoundwogo The provincial office of the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) met with education staff in Bind to discuss the initiative's achievements and membership procedures.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting took place on Friday, October 9, 2026, and was led by provincial coordinator Alain Dimzour, alongside his secretary Gisèle Yaogo. The session aimed to inform and raise awareness among education staff about APEC's membership conditions, recorded achievements, and innovations for investment tracking.
APEC has amassed approximately 134,000 subscribers since its inception. Among the highlighted projects were two agri-food units under Socit Faso Tomate (SOFATO) in Bobo-Dioulasso and Tenkodogo, specializing in tomato processing, and a mining company in Gaoua.
To aid in investment monitoring, APEC has developed an application called "APEC Burkina," enabling subscribers to access information regarding their investments.
The financial requirements for joining APEC include a membership fee of 5,000 CFA francs and a social share of 10,000 CFA francs.
This engagement allowed the Bind education staff to gain insights into APEC's objectives, achievements, and avenues for participation in community entrepreneurship. The Zoundwogo provincial office aims to increase awareness of APEC within the education sector through this outreach initiative.
