Kpur:A popular cross-country race was organized on Wednesday by the special delegation of the municipality of Kpur as part of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw participation from young people, students, military and paramilitary personnel, along with local authorities, all gathering on the Kpur communal field for this significant sporting occasion.

Adama Coulibaly, the prefect and president of the special delegation of the municipality, presided over the event. He commended the strong turnout and the sense of team spirit among participants. Coulibaly emphasized the importance of sports, stating, "Sport remains a therapeutic tool for maintaining the physical and mental balance of our body. I therefore invite everyone to practice sport even outside of these JEPPC."
