Nobr:Teachers from the Nobr Basic Education District gathered to honor their colleague Nazaire Yoda, who retired on August 15, 2026, during a ceremony at Nobr A public primary school.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event celebrated Yoda's long and varied career, which included roles as a classroom teacher and positions in school and university administration. His final role was as the human resources manager within the Nobr Basic Education District.

Sandaogo Prosper Ilboudo, head of the Nobr Basic Education District, congratulated Yoda, highlighting his exemplary conduct that earned respect and admiration. He also extended apologies on behalf of the district for any inappropriate behavior Yoda may have encountered during his 33 years of service.

François d'Assise Bouda, representing Yoda's colleagues, wished him a happy retirement, expressing hopes for his health and longevity.

Nazaire Yoda, visibly moved, expressed gratitude and reflected on his career with fulfillment, stating he would choose the teaching profession again if given the chance. He also apologized to his former colleagues for any shortcomings during his tenure.
