Pilimpikou:A popular cross-country race was organized in Pilimpikou as part of the second phase of the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). Held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, the event aimed to foster social cohesion and patriotic commitment among the local population.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the race marked the closing of the activities planned for JEPPC 2026 and involved various workers and socio-professional groups from the municipality. Participants began their 2-kilometer journey at the communal field and concluded at Pilimpikou A. public primary school.

Adama Ouédraogo, President of the special delegation of Pilimpikou, highlighted the significance of sporting activities in enhancing social bonds and promoting health. The event demonstrated the community's support for the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution and their dedication to the patriotic initiatives led by the nation's authorities.
