Dand:Houet The town hall of Dand successfully collected 61 bags of blood and showcased nearly ten local dishes during an event held on Thursday, October 15, 2026. This event was part of the third edition, phase 2, of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was themed "Let's produce Burkinab, let's consume Burkinab" and aimed to promote human solidarity, voluntary blood donation, and the consumption of local products. The initiative was in line with the slogan "All for Made in Burkina let's make every purchase an act of sovereignty."

The prefect, Adama Zoundi, who is also the president of the special delegation of Dand, emphasized the importance of strengthening blood reserves for patient treatment while promoting the national culinary heritage. Sylvain Zerbo, a donor, expressed pride in contributing to life-saving efforts and encouraged others to participate in blood donation.

The event also included the presentation of nearly ten local dishes, showcasing the variety of Burkinab culinary specialties. Tonewenvo Bationo, a visitor, appreciated the diversity and flavor of the dishes, praising the initiative for promoting national culinary heritage and enhancing the local economy.

Through this event, the town hall of Dand reiterated its commitment to solidarity, local consumption, and national sovereignty, aligning with the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP).
