Popioho:Residents from the villages of Popioho, Keindeni, and Ouoro came together to rehabilitate the road connecting their communities to Brba, the main town in the commune. The road had deteriorated to such an extent that it was nearly impassable.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was organized on Saturday, October 17, 2026, following a call from community watch leaders and the presidents of the Village Development Committees. People of all ages participated, using personal resources such as tractors and tricycles to fill potholes and repair the road.
Zoubiess Bazoun, president of the National Coordination for Citizen Vigilance in Popioho, stated that this effort was meant to foster community involvement. He noted that it was also in response to a call for civic engagement from Captain Ibrahim Traor, President of Burkina Faso. The day concluded positively, with participants agreeing to continue their efforts in the future.
