CCCJ Leads Community Effort to Repair Key Access Road in PS Municipality

Balé:The PS Municipal Youth Advisory Council (CCCJ) mobilized its members and the local population on Saturday, October 17, 2026, to rehabilitate the access road leading to the Djoumbia private Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) and the "D" and "E" schools in the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the road, which is crucial for daily access to a healthcare facility and two primary schools, had been severely damaged by runoff, impeding the movements of students, teachers, patients, and their companions. The poor condition of the road prompted the CCCJ to organize the rehabilitation effort to improve accessibility.

The president of the CCCJ, Traoré Arouna, stated that the deteriorating state of the road necessitated immediate action to ensure access to essential services. Arouna emphasized that this initiative showcases the youth's commitment to enhancing their community's living environment.

Comrade Traoré expressed his satisfaction with the community's mobilization, highlighting the collaboration between CCCJ youth and residents in repairing the road. Lamien D. Ignace, the professional integration opportunity coordinator for the municipality, praised the community's dedication and urged them to continue working together for the municipality's development. He noted that such efforts align with the country's broader progressive agenda.

The CCCJ has announced plans for additional initiatives aimed at improving living conditions within the municipality in the coming days.
