Pouni:The territorial gendarmerie brigade of Pouni hosted the monthly flag-raising ceremony on the morning of November 2, where Major Soukian André Ouedraogo was officially introduced as the new Brigade Commander.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was attended by the President of the Special Delegation of Pouni, Comrade Nadine Tiémounou/Badiel, officials from the Defense and Security Forces, heads of services, and community leaders.

During the ceremony, Major Ouedraogo expressed his commitment to continue the work of his predecessor, focusing on maintaining the peace observed in the area concerning the fight against terrorism and organized crime. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the population and the Defense and Security Forces, urging residents to report suspicious activities and adhere to security guidelines to support the forces' missions and uphold community peace.
