“Fight against Dengue: Tests now free in public health centers”, headlines the national daily Sidwaya, informing that the Minister in charge of Health announced in a press release that the Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) of the Dengue are now free in public health centers and training courses, until the end of the epidemic.
The private newspaper, Today in Faso displays on its front page: “Burkina Faso: Free dengue tests in public health facilities”.
“Dengue fever in Burkina: Rapid diagnostic tests now free”, headlines the newspaper La Cohésion, the latest Burkinabe daily newspaper.
The same newspaper carries: “International Teacher's Day: The merit of 284 agents of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education recognized”.
According to La Cohésion, the Institute of Sciences (IDS) of Ouagadougou hosted, yesterday Tuesday, the celebration of the 2023 edition of Teacher's Day.
He said the celebration was themed: “The Teachers We Need for the Education We Want: The Global Imperative to Reverse the Teacher Shortage.”
In this regard, the national daily Sidwaya reports that 88 teacher-researchers and researchers and 195 teachers and agents of the ministry in charge of education saw their services recognized during the celebration.
The private daily Le Pays rightly headlines: “Teacher's Day in Burkina: the merit of 283 agents recognized”, before adding that the celebration, delayed, was co-chaired by the ministers Joseph André Ouédraogo in charge of Education and Adjima Thiombiano in charge of Higher Education.
Under another aspect, Le Pays displays: “Tour du Faso 2023: French companies leave the sponsors club”, thus evoking the press conference organized yesterday in Ouagadougou by the organizing committee of this sporting event.

The newspaper indicates that 15 teams including 12 foreigners will take part in the next round of Faso.
Sidwaya specifies that these are the national teams of Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Guinea Conakry and Belgium.
He adds that Burkina Faso, as usual, will present the national team and two regional teams.
L'Express du Faso, a private daily published in Bobo Dioulasso, adds that the public of the little queen in Faso will become familiar with the participating teams during a presentation evening, this Thursday, October 26, 2023.
