Under the patronage of the High Commissioner of Passoré, Daouda Sangaré, the bodies of the province of Passoré organized a sanitation day on Saturday with the aim of restoring the premises of the Medical Center with a surgical antenna (CMA) from Yako healthier.As part of the commemorative activities of the days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, officially launched on March 26, the provincial, municipal, customary, religious authorities and associative organizations of Passoré met early in the morning of Saturday April 6, 2024 at the Yako health district to rid this important health facility in the province of its garbage and impurities. Equipped with shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves, rakes and all other garbage collection equipment, the participants through the sanitation operation carefully cleaned the nooks and crannies of the district, from the storefront to the interior of the CMA, including emergency, ophthalmological and maternity services. No place or service escaped the blows of shovel s and rakes from the participants.This activity has given a brighter image to the largest health structure in the province, which brings together around sixty Health and Social Promotion Centers (CSPS). The Chief Medical Officer of the Yako health district (MCD), Ousséni Sawadogo, was delighted with the progress of the operation and expressed his thanks to the actors who took part. He stressed that, beyond its contribution to user safety, the operation will contribute to strengthening the quality of care for the benefit of patients. Dr. Sawadogo also expressed the hope that health actions of this magnitude would multiply in the various health facilities in the province.The High Commissioner of Passoré, Daouda Sangaré, explained that this sanitation operation, which first recalled the context of the holding of the activity, will strengthen the patriotic consciousness of the populations and cultivate values such as good citizenship and solidarity between local residents. Welcoming the mobilization, the auth ority expressed its recognition and gratitude to the participants for their commitment to the effective realization of the health day.
