Ouagadougou: The Professional Training Center in Mining Machinery Operation and Workplace Safety (CFPEM-SST) will provide its technical expertise to the company Bonkoungou Distribution (BKG Distribution) as part of the operationalization of Kara Regional Agricultural Mechanization Center in Togo, the AIB learned on Saturday.The President of the Togolese Republic Faure Gnassingbé, in order to intensify agricultural production through better techniques, launched in April 2023 the Kara Regional Agricultural Mechanization Center (CRMAK) project.The Togolese authorities have entrusted the implementation of this gigantic project to the company Bonkoungou Distribution (BKG Distribution, registered in Lomé) for a period of 25 years, the AIB has learned.On Saturday April 20, 2024, the Professional Training Center in Mining Machinery Operation and Safety at Work (CFPEM-SST) led by Ibrahim Ouédraogo and the first manager of BKG Distribution, Bachirou Bonkoungou, signed an agreement in Lomé, Togo. partnership for t he realization of the Kara Regional Agricultural Mechanization Center project in the Togolese Republic.According to a press release received by the AIB, through this agreement, the CFPEM-SST has undertaken to provide its technical expertise to BKG Distribution for the effective establishment and operationalization of the said center.As a reminder, the CFPEM-SST based in Ouagadougou is a reference center and a center of excellence in terms of professional training in the operation of mining and construction equipment in all categories.It was founded in 2015 by Ibrahim Ouédraogo, a certified expert trainer who previously had a career in the mining sector in Burkina Faso as a machine operator and then a multi-purpose trainer.Source: Burkina Information Agency
