The traders of Solhan (North) donated food to the widows of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) who fell at the front, the VDP at the front and to the teachers of the locality, on May 17 in Solhan, noted an AIB journalist.The merchants of Solhan, through this gesture, wanted to show their gratitude to the efforts of the VDP in office and those who fell for the honor of the homeland. This is why, we traders of this locality have decided today, May 17, 2024, to provide our support, however modest it may be, for the recognition of your efforts,' said the representative of the traders Yaya Lankoandé.This donation concerns the widows of fallen VDPs, current VDPs and teachers who remained at their post despite the difficult situation, for the happiness of schoolchildren. These are the teachers of the two functional schools in the municipality.To do this, the VDP widows received 5 bags of rice and a 20 liter can of oil. Each school received 5 bags of rice of 50 kg and a can of 20 liters of oil while the VDPs in office received two barrels of gasoline.
