Ouagadougou: The population of the commune of Boulsa responded massively this Sunday, July 21, 2024, to the call from the high commissioner of the province of Namentenqa, Adama Conseiga to repair the foundation of the dam in the way of total collapse.The foundation of the Boulsa dam, in the Namentenga province, North-Central region, is in the process of total collapse and is making it difficult for heavy vehicles to move.Following the call from the first official of the province, the population of the commune of Boulsa came out massively this Sunday, July 21, 2024 to repair the foundation of the hydraulic structure.For this purpose, some fill the bags with red earth to place them nearby, others take care of transporting them to the critical location.At the bottom of the slab, the young people hand over large stones to the team responsible for storing them under the slabs.The provincial director in charge of Infrastructure, Noel Nadinga, for his part, welcomed the patriotic enthusiasm of the populati on of Boulsa to repair the foundation of the dam.The High Commissioner, Adama Conseiga also thanked all those who invested in the repair of the dam base.Note that the foundation of the dam is located on the Boulsa-Kaya axis on the national road no. 15, approximately 250 m from the large Boulsa market in its northern part.Source: Burkina Information Agency
