The association education awakening for children (3E) closed on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Padia plus space in Boromo the 8th edition of its cultural holiday activities called Kombissa Show on the theme: "Education culture and resilience". The finalists competed in the Play back category and in ballet on sounds of national musician artists. The ceremony brought together spectators and actors from the cultural world of the Balé province.The cultural activities of the association éducation éveil pour l'enfant reached their apotheosis on the afternoon of Sunday, September 29 with the finals in Play back and ballet. The activities began on July 21.After the pre-selection phases, the organizing committee selected 16 participants in Play back and 4 groups in modern and traditional ballet. The various elimination rounds took place on Sunday afternoon at the padia plus space.According to the president of the association Les 3 E, Issiaka Sangaré, this cultural space is dedicated to children from 06 to 1 5 years old. The event is in its 8th edition. The objective is to allow children from the Balé province to have a framework for development during the holidays."To this end, we have carried out activities that contribute to education, the promotion of civic and cultural values," he said.Mr. Sangaré added that the children's performances, their costumes and the artists they imitated are reasons for satisfaction which prove that they "understand the message that we want to convey."In the Play back category, young talents performed to the sounds of national artists who sing about social cohesion, patriotism, and support for the defense and security forces.The ballet troupes produced choreographies that glorify peace and social cohesion with traditional dance steps. The various performances amazed the public, which was strongly mobilized to support the candidates and the event.The jury chaired by Adams Bayo, musician, selected Diakité Siaka and the Athlétique dance group respectively in Play back and ba llet as the winner of the 2024 edition of Kombissa Show.The top five finalists and the two best ballet groups were awarded prizes. In Playback, the prizes range from 20,000 to 105,000 FCFA and in ballet from 75,000 to 100,000 FCFA.The best finalists also received school kits and gadgets donated by local partners and the support of goodwill.The president of the association launched an appeal to partners to support them in adding other categories that will promote children's talent and make Kombissa show the biggest event in the province for the benefit of children.Source: Burkina Information Agency
