Rentrée pédagogique 2024-2025 : 49 écoles rouvrent leurs portes à travers plusieurs communes du Yatenga

Primary and preschool students in Yatenga province from 49 schools returned to school on Tuesday, AIB noted.The start of the school year marking the resumption of educational activities was carried out at the 'Souli A' school in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Ouahigouya 2 under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Northern region represented by Tasséré Nacoulma, High Commissioner of the Yatenga province. Education officials, learners, supervisors, social partners, parents of students met in the grounds of the public primary school of "Souli A" in sector number 1 of Ouahigouya. The raising of the colors at 7:30 am by the students was the first act of this gathering.Jean-Marie Ouédraogo, Regional Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Yatenga (DREPPNF), in his speech, galvanized the teaching staff and gave practical advice to students for the success of the school year. The ceremony was an opportunity for all the teachers and supervisors of the CEB of Ouahigouya 2 to hand over to the authorities the sum of 230,000 FCFA, the result of the collection for the contribution to the peace effort of teachers and supervisors during the annual educational conference from September 10 to 13, 2024."On behalf of the Governor of the Northern Region, I would like to encourage you for this new school year. Always be resilient. We will spare no effort to find solutions to the challenges that arise. While wishing you a good start to the school year, I declare the 2024-2025 educational year open," Mr. Nacoulma told students, teachers and all education stakeholders.It is with great satisfaction that Salam Ouédraogo, Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Yatenga (DPEPPNF) said he was confident of a success like last year in terms of school activities.Ouédraogo is all the more delighted that in addition to those of the past school year, 49 schools will reopen their doors this 2024-2025 school year in the communes of Zogoré (11), Namissiguima (22), Oula (07), Thiou ( 01bango) and Ouahigouya (08). He suggested that a staff requirement of 25 in the office and 88 in the classroom remains to be met. 3,626 agents will strive for the full success of this 2024-2025 school year with the support of all education stakeholders.Source: Burkina Information Agency
