Tenkodogo: A delegation from Tounga Invest on Friday requested advice and guidance from the Governor of the Centre-East region, Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana, for the success of the 3rd edition of the Diaspora Entrepreneurs Forum, scheduled to take place in Tenkodogo from August 7 to 9, 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a delegation from Tounga Invest, led by its General Commissioner, Pascal Dimzour©, was received in audience on Friday, April 4, 2025, by the Governor of the Center-East region, Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana. The delegation came to seek advice and guidance from the region's top official for the holding of the 3rd edition of the Diaspora Entrepreneurs Forum. The 2025 edition will be held in the city of Naaba Zoungrana, from August 7 to 9, 2025.
It will take place under the theme: "The contribution of the Burkinabe diaspora to achieving food sovereignty in Burkina Faso." A theme that is of great importance, given the agricultural offensive campaign promoted and implemented by the Burkinabe government. According to Pascal Dimzour©, this current edition aims above all to celebrate the Burkinabe diaspora in the region.
The initiative is welcomed by the governor, who has indicated his agreement in principle to support the developers. Colonel Lamizana praised the commitment of the region's daughters and sons to development activities. He hopes that this example will spread.
The president of the special delegation of Tenkodogo, Sami B©renger Pooda, is delighted that the Forum is being held in his town. An event which, according to him, will undoubtedly give brilliance to the locality and highlight the contribution of the diaspora. In the meantime, the organizing committee is pulling out all the stops to make the 3rd edition of the Diaspora Entrepreneurs Forum one of the most successful yet.
