Boulgou: As part of operational monitoring and support to units engaged in the fight against terrorism, the Minister of Security, Mr. Mahamadou SANA, carried out a field trip to the province of Boulgou. This mission allowed visiting several positions of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) as well as the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) deployed in the area.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during this tour, the Minister expressed his warm congratulations to the troops for their commitment and courage in securing populations and strategic areas. He encouraged the troops to maintain discipline, vigilance, and cohesion in carrying out their missions.

Mahamadou SANA also provided operational advice, stressing the importance of coordination between the different forces, regular reporting of information, and constant adaptation to the realities on the ground.

The FDS and VDP, for their part, expressed their joy and satisfaction at receiving the visit of the head of national security. They reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the population and defending their homeland, even at the cost of their lives if necessary.

This visit reflects the authorities' desire to remain close to the forces involved and to strengthen the dynamics of reconquest and securing the national territory.
