Sourou: The Burkina Suudu Bawd¨ Provincial Vocational Training Center in Tougan, in collaboration with the technical high school, organized an exhibition of learners' products from May 1 to 3. The event, known as the seventy-two hours of learners, showcased the achievements of the center's students.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the activity was chaired by Ouigou Tiendreb©ogo, the prefect and president of the special communal delegation of Tougan, and sponsored by Commander Karim Souabo, Director General of the National Fund for the Promotion of Sports and Leisure. Over the course of three days, attendees participated in guided tours of the center, viewed an exhibition of learners' products, attended a fair, and enjoyed a maracana tournament.
Pinissi© Goro, principal of the technical high school and representative of the head of the Suudu Bawd¨ center in Tougan, stated that the objective was to promote vocational training by showcasing the achievements of the center's learners and the technical high school students. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about these educational structures and encouraged the local population to enroll their children to gain expertise.
Goro also highlighted challenges faced by the institutions, such as inadequate infrastructure, insufficient staff, and the need to complete the construction of the technical high school site in Tougan. Ouigou Tiendreb©ogo, who also presided over the activity, commended the collaborative initiative as a sign of social cohesion and assured that he had taken note of the difficulties mentioned.
