Sourou: The High Commissioner of the Sourou province, D©sir© Badolo, called on the people of the province on Monday to be more resilient and united in the face of current challenges. "I would like to call for much more resilience and solidarity in this context we are experiencing. This is also the downside of the war we are waging. We must adapt and hope for an improvement in things," said the High Commissioner of Sourou Province, D©sir© Badolo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the province's top official spoke on Monday, May 5, 2025, following the traditional flag-raising ceremony at the provincial Water and Forestry Directorate in Tougan, the provincial capital. Sourou High Commissioner D©sir© Badolo also called on all the province's combat forces to work together in synergy and complement each other.

High Commissioner D©sir© Badolo took the opportunity to congratulate the provincial coordination of citizen monitoring associations for its strong mobilization on April 30 to support the President of Faso and to thank the people of good will who made donations to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Tougan.
