Ouagadougou: An anonymous donor supports BIR 30 with 100 bags of rice, food products, and financial aid. A resident of the village of Yourga, in the commune of Sangha, who requested anonymity, handed over on Thursday 100 bags of rice weighing 25 kilograms, 10 cans of oil weighing 20 liters, 60 cartons of spaghetti, five cartons of couscous and an envelope containing 100,000 FCFA to the Rapid Intervention Battalion 30 (BIR 30), in support of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) engaged in securing the national territory.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the commander of BIR 30, Captain Salifou Sawadogo, expressed his deep gratitude to the donor for this act of solidarity and patriotism. He indicated that this support constitutes an important encouragement for the morale of the troops engaged in security operations in the province of Koulpelogo and Burkina Faso.

Captain Sawadogo reaffirmed his men's determination to pursue their mission with professionalism. He also urged the population to remain vigilant and to report to the competent authorities any information likely to contribute to the safety of people and property.

The donation handover ceremony took place in an atmosphere of solidarity, patriotism, and unity between the people and the fighting forces.
