Pouni: The President of the special delegation of the commune of Pouni, Nadine Ti©mounou/Badiel, officially launched the Baccalaureate exams for the 2026 session on Tuesday morning at the departmental high school of Pouni. At precisely 7:30 AM, President Ti©mounou opened the initial envelope containing the tests for series A and D, signaling the commencement of the exams for the 226 candidates of Jury 1.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was attended by members of the special delegation, including 1st Vice-President Vincent Bazi© and 2nd Vice-President Bahini Edmon Coulibaly, alongside security forces and educational professionals. During the launch, the head of the municipality encouraged candidates to maintain composure and adhere to exam regulations. She highlighted the importance of transparency and merit, reaffirming the municipal authorities’ dedication to ensuring the exams proceed smoothly in a secure and supportive environment.
The delegation’s program outlines a visit to Tita Departmental High School (Jury 2) on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, to initiate the second day’s exams, where 218 candidates will participate. This action by local authorities underscores the significance placed by the municipality of Pouni on this national examination, a critical milestone for the future of the region’s youth.
