Bagassi: Members of the Association of Young People in Solidarity for Progress (AJSP), supported by the town hall's green brigade, organized a sanitation day on Saturday at the premises of the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) and the Basic Education Inspectorate of the commune of Bagassi. The Bagassi CSPS and the Education Inspectorate are the two sites that benefited from this civic action. At the Inspectorate, the work involved both cleaning the courtyard and thoroughly cleaning the interior of the offices. With brooms, wheelbarrows, and hoes in hand, the young people restored a clean and welcoming environment to this administrative space.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the request of the head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), the activity was expanded to include a reforestation operation. For this, the members of the AJSP benefited from the technical support of the Environment Department, which supervised the planting of several seedlings within the institution's grounds.

The association's president stated that through this initiative, AJSP members aim to combine cleanliness with environmental protection. He believes these citizen initiatives should be encouraged and expanded to improve the living environment in the community.

The city hall, by providing the Green Brigade, welcomed the youth mobilization. For its part, the CCEB expressed its satisfaction and encouraged the continuation of such initiatives.

In a friendly atmosphere, the participants ended the day with the feeling of having accomplished a useful gesture for the community.
