Bankui Education Director Praises Revolutionary Progress in Schools

Bankui:The Regional Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education of Bankui, Philibert Hyacinthe Coulibaly, has expressed strong approval of the achievements made by the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP) in the education sector within his region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Coulibaly highlighted significant improvements since the leadership of Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©, noting the reopening of approximately 600 primary educational facilities, which has enabled around 135,000 children to return to school.

This educational recovery includes a comprehensive program of school infrastructure development aimed at easing student transportation challenges. Coulibaly emphasized that school construction in D©dougou has reached unprecedented levels in the past two to four years, with many school buildings doubled in size and a three-story school project underway.

Additionally, under the IDB 5 Project, at least thirty school complexes are being constructed in key towns to accommodate more students. The regional capital now hosts a distribution center with a 2,000-ton capacity for storing and distributing food supplies to schools throughout the region, which Coulibaly described as an "extremely satisfactory outcome."

He called for continued social mobilization and patriotic effort, urging the people of Burkina Faso to unite and contribute to the nation's development. Coulibaly commended the region's education stakeholders, particularly the teachers, for their dedication in advancing the education system's recovery, even in challenging areas. He assured continued efforts to maintain the current momentum.
