Baz¨ga Students Begin Mock Exams to Prepare for 2026 CEP

Baz¨ga: The Baz¨ga provincial directorate in charge of primary education began administering mock CEP exams throughout the province on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The goal is to allow students to better prepare for the 2026 CEP exam session.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Baz¨ga is organizing, from February 10 to 13, 2026, the mock examination of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) throughout the province.

For Claude Ouedraogo, the provincial director in charge of primary education for Baz¨ga, this mock CEP exam aims to provide an opportunity to assess students' progress and identify what they have learned. He believes this will help ensure they are fully prepared for the end-of-year exams, because, as he says, "he who wants to travel far spares his horse."

For this first day of the start of the tests, Mr. Ouedraogo visited the public schools of Goanghin, Kagamzince in the commune of Doulougou and the private school Sommitba in the commune of Kombissiri.

At these schools, the provincial director went to encourage the student candidates and the teachers.

This preparatory exam concerns all students in the second year of middle school (CM2) in public and private schools in the 8 basic education districts of Baz¨ga.
