Bazega Police Lead Successful Cleanup Initiative at Nagnimi Health Center

Bazega: The provincial direction of the national police cleans up the Nagnimi CSPS in Kombissiri

Staff from the Bazega Provincial Directorate of the National Police organized a cleanup day on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Nagnimi Health Center in Kombissiri. This activity was part of the 2026 National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the staff of the provincial directorate of the national police (DPPN) of Bazega in Kombissiri, along with the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), the Auxiliary Security Volunteers (VADS), and citizens of the city of Kombissiri, mobilized to clean the grounds of the CSPS (health and social promotion center) of Nagnimi in sector no. 4 of Kombissiri.

This sanitation activity, explained by the Central Police Commissioner of the city of Kombissiri, Boureima Kouss©, is part of the first phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) 2026. He emphasized that the cleanup effort is a reflection of the collective will of the citizens of Kombissiri to contribute to the improvement of living conditions and health of the population. 'A healthy environment is essential for the well-being of the population and for disease prevention,' he asserted.

The residents of Nagnimi, convinced of the importance of this cleanup effort, joined forces with the police, the VDP, and the VADS to clean the grounds and surrounding area of the CSPS (Primary Health Care Center). Mr. Kouss© highlighted the strong mobilization for this activity as a testament to the community's commitment to patriotism, civic duty, and national solidarity. He encouraged the population to incorporate cleanliness and civic responsibility into their daily lives.

On behalf of the provincial police director of Bazega, Commissioner Kouss© expressed gratitude to the residents of Nagnimi and the citizens of Kombissiri who participated in the cleanup day alongside the police, VDP, and VADS. As part of the first phase of the JEPPC 2026, Mr. Kouss© noted that the DPPN of Bazega has planned several activities, including open days at the DPPN, raising awareness among police personnel about corruption, a radio program, a civil-military cross-country race, a football match between security forces and civil society, and recognition of resource persons and deserving police officers of the year 2025, among others.
