Bilingual Education Training Begins for Teachers in Nob©r©

Nob©r©:Teachers and school directors responsible for first-year bilingual classes in the Basic Education District of Nob©r©, Zoundw©ogo province, commenced a training session on bilingual teaching transcription and didactics on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the training's opening ceremony was led by Sandao Prosp¨re Ilboudo, Head of the Basic Education District of Nob©r©, at the Hope For private primary school in Nob©r©.

During his address, Ilboudo emphasized the significance of bilingual and multilingual education within Burkina Faso, describing it as a reform that enhances Burkinabe culture. He asserted that this educational reform aligns with the national goal of integrating indigenous knowledge into Burkinabe schools.

Ilboudo encouraged the participants to maintain diligence and punctuality throughout the training sessions. The primary objective of this training is to better prepare teachers for managing bilingual classes effectively in the upcoming school year.
