Bittou: The Sunni Movement Donates 21 Fans and 90 Light Bulbs to the CMA

Bittou: The Sunni movement of Bittou donated 21 ventilators and 90 light bulbs to the city's Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) on Friday, May 8, 2026. The donation was presented on the afternoon of Friday, May 8, 2026, at the CMA, in the presence of healthcare staff and donors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aims to address the equipment needs expressed by healthcare workers in order to better equip hospital wards. Achime Sanfo, imam of the Sunni movement in Bittou, indicated that this gesture will provide greater comfort to patients and improve the quality of care offered to the sick.

On behalf of the Sunni movement of Bittou, Mr. Sanfo promised to respond again to the grievances of the CMA of Bittou, which include the construction of toilets, the acquisition of an ultrasound machine, as well as other necessary equipment.

The chief medical officer of the Bittou health district, Bourama Ouattara, expressed his gratitude to the donors. According to him, this "donation is very welcome because we were in need." He noted that this donation will somewhat relieve the patients and also allow for quality care to be provided.

Furthermore, Mr. Ouattara invited other people of goodwill to follow suit in order to further support the medical center.
