Iolonioro: The final results of the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) exam for the 2026 session have been released in the commune of Iolonioro, located in Bougouriba province. The four secondary schools that participated recorded an overall pass rate of 40.90%.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 198 candidates participated in the BEPC exams in the municipality. After the second round of deliberations, 81 candidates were declared successful, making up the municipal success rate of 40.90%.

Statistics from the educational establishments show that the General Education College (CEG) of Diassara leads with 22 admitted out of 35 candidates, achieving a success rate of 62.85%. Following closely is the CEG of Iolonioro with 22 admissions out of 49 candidates, translating to a success rate of 44.89%.

The CEG of Tom¨ns achieved a total of 15 successful candidates from 44 presented, resulting in a success rate of 34.09%. Meanwhile, the Iolonioro Departmental High School recorded 22 admissions out of 70 candidates, representing a success rate of 31.42%.

These results position the Diassara CEG at the top of the municipal performance rankings, ahead of the Iolonioro CEG. They underscore the dedication of students, teachers, educational supervisors, and parents throughout the academic year.

Despite these accomplishments, the overall success rate indicates potential for improvement. Local education stakeholders are encouraged to continue providing pedagogical support and monitoring students to enhance results in future sessions.

Education officials commend the commitment of stakeholders and urge successful candidates to pursue their studies with greater determination while encouraging those who did not succeed to intensify their efforts for upcoming exams.
