Boulgou Agropastoral Initiative: Mission Officer Adama Kambon Visits Niaogho Agricultural Volunteers

Ouagadougou: The mission officer for the Nakamb region, Adama Kambon, visited the collective field of the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) agricultural workers in the commune of Niaogho, Boulgou province. The visit occurred this Wednesday and aimed to support the ongoing agricultural efforts in the area.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Kambon, along with his delegation, expressed appreciation to local authorities for their support to the agricultural producers. The project manager emphasized the necessity of continued assistance throughout the agricultural season to ensure successful outcomes.

During the visit, Mr. Kambon acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the agricultural volunteers, especially in light of the limited rainfall this season. He encouraged them to maintain their efforts and provided technical advice to help them preserve their production potential despite the challenging weather conditions.

Adama Kouda, head of the agricultural VDP in Niaogho, conveyed his gratitude for Mr. Kambon's initiative. He highlighted the need for ongoing technical support to enhance crop yields. The visit fostered an exchange of experiences aimed at bolstering the resilience of local farmers and contributing to food sovereignty.
