Ouagadougou: Mechanics located near the Camp of the 10th Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR 10) handed over on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, two 20-liter jerrycans of used motor oil, intended to support the production of paving stones at the Faso Mªbo production site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the handover of the two 20-liter cans of used motor oil was made by the spokesperson for the mechanics, Aboubacar Oudraogo. As part of their commitment, the mechanics in Ddougou contributed this resource to aid the national construction initiative led by Faso Mªbo. 'We are mechanics in Ddougou. Faso Mªbo is for all of us. It is for the whole country and it requires a commitment from everyone for its success. We have seen that if we make our modest contribution, it can help the population,' Oudraogo stated.

In the paving stone making process, used motor oil plays an important role, particularly in facilitating demolding. By providing this resource from their daily activity, these mechanics demonstrate that every trade, regardless of its specialty, can find a way to support the national construction efforts.
